About
Hi, I'm Mark Bennett. Welcome to my home on the web.
In 2014 I completed my PhD in theoretical astrophysics at the University of Melbourne. See my physics research page for more details.
Following my PhD I transitioned to bioinformatics, initially at the University of Cincinnati (2014 to 2016) and currently at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute (2016 to present). Details of my bioinformatics research to come some day.
In addition to playing and watching a number of sports, I have an interest in sports statistics. You might be interested in my computer sports predictions for AFL, tennis and cricket.
